thank you first for being here. the past 5 years have been an all-in, intentional promise to myself to practice, fail, try, and eventually be proud of the effort towards my goals and dreams.

music is my heartbeat. it's the purest form of matter on earth to me. when i was learning web design, learning to create songs became my recess break.

you tell me. is a 12-song, 3 part demo featuring songs I've made from 2015-2024. i realized how nervous i was sharing the fact I made music, so i decided to run towards that fear with this.
this is you tell me.

a story of a kid from zimbabwe named takudzwa.

a few ground rules...

(bc this shit took me a very long time.)

learning to play music for over 10 years then creating a 3-part, 12 song audio diary with the hopes of sharing your story might help someone else.....was a high bar for myself. Because of that fact,

This project is not available on streaming & only on this website

i became aware of how I was navigating spotify/apple music during this process.
play counts, queuing songs immediately is an intentionally designed user functionality feature. so it's normal for everyone to do so

I ask that you listen with the availability to hear it in full

this was the hardest/most amount of hours i've ever put towards anything. because of that fact, I know that the long nights in my bedroom created something that will hopefully help you believe in yourself.

please share your thoughts and feedback with me!

music is my passion but not my job. i'm excited to finally grant myself closure and keep making work for the love of sport. i find the comments section on youtube videos to be the most genuine corner of earth. hearing that just one song alone made you feel or gain confidence is worth 1m spotify plays to me

this button will create a calendar reminder for whenever you're free to enjoy the album comfortably with headphones.
